Your 14-day right, plus 30 days of goodwill
Because you're buying online, Irish and EU law gives you a 14-day cooling-off right: you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it, with no explanation needed. When you cancel within that window we refund the full price including the standard outbound delivery charge, within 14 days of getting the goods back (or of your proof that you've sent them). You cover the cost of posting the item back to us.
On top of that statutory right, we offer a goodwill change-of-mind window up to 30 days from delivery. For returns in days 15–30 we refund the price of the item; outbound and return postage are not refunded for these later change-of-mind returns.
Proof of purchase — your order number, receipt, or email confirmation — is required. Nothing in this policy reduces your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer law.
What can be returned
To be eligible for a refund or exchange, items must be unworn, unwashed and unused, in their original condition with no signs of wear, stains, odours or alteration, with all tags and labels attached and in their original packaging where applicable.
For hygiene and customisation reasons, the following are not eligible for return unless faulty: personalised or custom-printed items (names, verses, custom designs); final-sale items clearly marked “non-returnable” at checkout; and gift cards or digital products.
Prayer journals bought through Amazon are covered by Amazon's own returns process — please request those returns through your Amazon order.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your item arrives defective or damaged, or you receive the wrong item, size or colour, please contact us as soon as you can with your order number and photos of the issue. Faulty-goods rights last well beyond 30 days, so don't worry if a fault only shows later — get in touch and we'll put it right.
We cover the return shipping cost and, depending on when you contact us, offer a repair, replacement, full refund or exchange in line with your statutory rights and subject to availability.
Starting a return or exchange
Email us at hello@truthchristianclothing.com with the subject line “Return/Exchange – Order #[your number]”. Include your order number, the item(s), your reason (none needed for a 14-day cooling-off cancellation), and whether you'd like a refund or an exchange.
We'll reply with the return address and any packaging instructions. Pack the item securely with all tags and original packaging, and ship it using a trackable method. The item remains your responsibility until it reaches us.
Within the 14-day cooling-off period we refund the item plus the standard outbound delivery charge; you pay only the cost of posting it back. For later goodwill (change-of-mind) returns in days 15–30, return postage is paid by you and outbound delivery is non-refundable. For faulty, damaged or wrong items, we cover return shipping.
How refunds and exchanges work
Once your return reaches us we check it over and process your refund to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the goods (or your proof of return) — usually much sooner. Your bank or payment provider may add a little time. For 14-day cooling-off cancellations the refund includes the standard outbound delivery charge; for later change-of-mind returns it covers the price of the item.
Exchanges are for a different size, colour or style of the same product, subject to availability. If the new item costs more, you pay the difference; if it costs less, you receive the difference as store credit or a refund. We ship the new item once your return reaches us.
To cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible — if it hasn't shipped yet we'll cancel it and issue a full refund; if it has shipped, please follow the return process once it arrives.
